The Connecting Sebastopol Community Newsletter is a project of the Ballarat Neighbourhood Centre and was established with funding from Spotlight on Sebastopol, a partnership between Regional Development Victoria and the City of Ballarat. The first issue was published in October 2022 and since then has gone from strength to strength, growing in volunteer numbers, with each quartely publication now reaching over 3000 Sebastopol households.
In November 2024, we were delighted to have our efforts and achievements recognised, through being honoured with the title of 'Best Newspaper 2024' at the Community Newspaper Association of Victoria (CNAV) annual awards.
